DGCA Conversion Flying
To convert your foreign pilot license to an Indian license, you need to fulfill the following criteria:
Age: Must be at least 18 years old upon joining the CAA.
Medical: Possession of a valid DGCA Class I medical certificate is required.Foreign License: A valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) from a foreign country is necessary.
Language: Proficiency in English as per ICAO standards is mandatory.
Theory Exams: You are required to clear two theory exams: Air Regulation (air law) and Composite.
Training and Skill Tests: You must complete training and skill tests using an aircraft registered and recognized in India.
Flight Log: An authenticated logbook detailing your flying experience over the last five years is required.
